Questions
Do I need to be registered for VAT to use it?
No. It works whether you’re registered or not. If you are, the app adds VAT and makes tax invoices with everything SARS asks for. Do I need to register?
Does it understand Afrikaans?
Yes. Speak in English or Afrikaans, or mix the two. Your quotes and invoices can be in either language.
What if it gets something wrong?
You see every quote before it goes, and you can change anything on it. When the app isn’t sure of a price or a client, it asks you instead of guessing. It never makes up a price: it uses what you said or your price list.
How do my clients pay me?
By EFT, with your bank details and a reference on the invoice, or by card through your own Yoco or PayFast account. The money goes straight to you: we never hold it.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It works in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
What happens to my voice notes?
They’re used only to write your quote. The recording is deleted after 30 days.
